Shannon is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) who earned her Master of

Social Work degree from the University of Kansas in 2016. Prior to joining private practice,

Shannon worked in various settings including community health clinics, hospitals, both inpatient

and outpatient behavioral health settings, long-term care facilities and hospice care.

     Shannon is trained and experienced working with individuals ages 15 and older. She offers an

inclusive, safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to express themselves and discover the

connection between their inner thoughts, feelings and behaviors. She uses a strengths-

based, solution focused approach to help clients navigate life’s challenges, decisions and

changes.

     Areas of experience include acute stress, anxiety and panic, adjustment to life

transitions such as aging, retirement and caregiving, depression, grief and loss, and those

experiencing critical and chronic illnesses.
