Hello there! I’m Sarah Lazar, a counseling student at Wichita State University. Before starting my master’s in clinical mental health counseling, I studied at Friends University, where I earned degrees in Psychology and Sociology. I’m interning with Revive & Thrive as I increase my practical knowledge and practice my counseling skills under the supervision of talented licensed professionals.

 

I enjoy working with young women and seniors, but I am interested in working with anyone and find great joy in witnessing each unique individual grow. I’m passionate about providing individuals with a safe place to contemplate and work through whatever stands in their way. I believe in acceptance and compassion for others and provide a safe space for individuals to explore, contemplate, and process the many challenges of life.

My hobbies include playing volleyball, quilting, thrifting, and playing Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) any chance I get. After graduation I plan to work in private practice and gain additional training in the therapeutic application of table-top role-playing games like D&D.
